I still don’t have the right equipment to do planetary properly yet. I’ve been watching patiently to see if I could get an ASI178MC and a Televue 4x Powermate, but they’ve been out of stock for a while. Maybe next year.
However, I wanted to glance at Mars, as it is still quite close to Earth right now. I took a 1000 frame video and kept the best 20%. I didn’t get much resolution with my normal deep sky imaging scale, but you can see some features and the polar ice cap in the bottom right side of it.
