While imaging the Iris Nebula this week, I also had my new widefield rig imaging Caldwell 20, the North America nebula. It mostly worked out well, and I got two nights of images totaling about 13 hours of exposure. There seems to be a bit of a bug in the ASIAir that causes the plate solving to be inaccurate after the meridian flip, so I had to crop out a good bit of the integration. This image was taken using the SkyWatcher 0.85x reducer. The spacing must not be quite right with it since there is still some field curvature in the corners of the images. I’ll have to work on that.
