With the nice spring weather, I’ve finally got around to installing an allsky camera that I’ve pieced together over the last month. The camera consists of a Raspberry Pi 4 and ZWO ASI120MC-S in a waterproof case. I am also using a PoE converter to power the Pi only through the Ethernet cable. The imaging is managed by the wonderful, open-source Allsky project by Thomas Jacquin.
You can view the live images from the camera on my Allsky Camera page, which is linked to in the About menu. The software will produce timelapse videos and star-trails images at the end of every night. These are available using the navigation in the live webpage.
