I was browsing through the archives of my allsky camera and noticed something strange in one of the star trails images,

Airplanes are the dotted lines throughout the image, and satellites are the very thin solid lines. The wide object in the upper right is Saturn. The very wide and bright object toward the bottom of the image is not a planet and is far too wide and bright to be an airplane or satellite, so it must be a meteor! It swept across the northern sky around 11:45 PM on June 28th of this year. Here is the individual frame containing it,

Unfortunately, the acrylic dome on the camera had formed some dew, but it appears that the meteor had several pieces that came off of it and trailed ahead and alongside it. The delay between the frames failed to catch it past this point.
