Aurora Borealis!? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen!?

This is a timelapse captured from my allsky camera on May 10/11. The real show was right after dusk, and it faded as the night went on. Dew formed on the camera shield so there was not much else to see. Sitting outside, I could easily see the colors and striations of the aurora with my naked eye.
The keogram from the night shows that it did go on for most of the night,

Apparently the sun has been quite busy lately. I’m a couple of days late, but even today we can see a significant number of sunspots on its surface. I believe I heard that the big spot on the right hand limb may be responsible.
